Hub4Stuff is celebrating a sucessful start to 2023 with the award of a grant from the Hall and Woodhouse Community Chest.
Founders Alyson Marlow and Fiona Cooke received the award at a celebration evening hosted by the family brewer and pub chain Hall and Woodhouse.
Every year the fund receives hundreds of applications with the judging panel led by family director Mark Woodhouse carefully considering them all.
Mark explained: “The Community Chest was founded over 20 years ago to support and strengthen the local communities of which our pubs are an integral part of. It is simply the right thing to do to maintain our offer of financial support for these local organisations that play such vital roles in our communities.”
The funds will be used to enable Hu4Stuff to continue its work in the local community saving furniture from landfill and redistributing to low income families.
