Do you have any unwanted household items from chairs to beds and chests of drawers, that are in good condition? If so, we may be able to help you and help those in the community as well by giving furniture a second chance.

By donating to Hub4Stuff your unwanted items can be reused by those in need or upcycled to raise money for our community activities – and you can make a difference to our environment by not sending good quality furniture to landfill.

Occasionally, we may not be able to collect certain items offered to us

This may be because:

The donations do not always suit the requirements of the people that we help
We may have run out of storage space, or simply because we have too many items of a particular type
We have to comply with Trading Standards regulations, and for example, we may not be able to take chairs that were made before 1988, or which don’t have the Fire Safety label secured
Other items such as bunk beds or cots are also subject to regulations, so we may have to ask you questions about the items you are offering.

Please accept our apologies if we are unable to help or have to refuse any item offered at certain times.

Any financial donations from individuals or organisations would be greatly appreciated and help us run our services.

Gift Aid

We are also registering for Gift Aid which means that for every £1 we charge for upcycled items or money you donate to us we can reclaim 25p from HMRC at no cost to you. This means your donations go that little bit further. All you need to do is complete the Gift Aid form to confirm you are currently paying tax in the UK.
